AFP/American Majority Actvist Training Coming to Wichita

Americans for Prosperity and American Majority invite you to an Activist Training on Feb. 28, 2009.

You are invited to learn how YOU can make a positive difference in your community and your state!

AFP and American Majority Kansas will be presenting exclusive training to enable common citizens to make a difference in their communities by using tools of information, resources, and by networking with other like-minded individuals and organizations.

The training will be from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at the Wichita AFP office, 800 E. 1st Street, Ste. 401 in historic Old Town in Wichita.

Presentations that will be offered include:

  • Building Coalitions, Reaching Your Community, and Organizing Meaningful Events
  • Holding Your Elected Officials Accountable
  • Getting Involved in State and Local Political Campaigns
  • New Media: Op-Eds, Blogs, Wikipedia Projects and more

Breakfast and lunch will be served and the cost for each attendee is $10.00.

We believe that all change begins on the local level. If you want to be an effective activist and voice for change in your community, this training will provide you with the tools and information you need.
