Washington D.C. - Today Americans for Prosperity is releasing more details about the upcoming Hands Off My Health Care Rally scheduled for March 27th on Capitol Hill.

During the Supreme Court oral arguments on the constitutionality of President Obama’s health care plan, conservative activists from around the country will rally to send the message that the American people are against federal government intrusion on their private health care decisions, and the Individual Mandate is contrary to the United States Constitution.

A large coalition of conservative and free-market organizations is forming to support this rally, and more than 30 bus loads of activists have already organized to arrive from surrounding states including New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland. Many more coalition partners and buses will be added as the date moves closer.

Americans for Prosperity has played a major role in educating the public about the effects of government interference in private health care. AFP's Hands Off My Health Care Tour travelled coast-to-coast in 2009, hosting over 300 events and rallies. Then, over 5,000 activists gathered for AFP's Code Red Rally in Washington. Since then, AFP has worked to stop implementation of health care state exchanges, which transfer the burden of Obama's health care takeover onto state governments.
