What to do to prepare for the AZ Taxpayer Tea Party, this Friday (Feb 27th), at noon at Tempe Beach Park:

1) Tell your friends who love America! If possible, ask your friends to rsvp by sending an email to infoAZ@afphq.org.

2) Make homemade signs expressing your anger at a government that is going to raise your taxes to bail out people who got into bad mortgages (and bail out people who bought into bad mortgages that were bundled into risky financial instruments). 4) Bring a few tea bags for the photo op. We’re going to send them all to Congress.

5) Send AFP Arizona director Tom Jenney (infoaz@afphq.org) your state legislative district number. If you don’t know your district, send Tom your city, zip code, and nearest major intersection. He will let your state legislators know you’re coming. He will also keep you posted on upcoming taxpayer townhall meetings in your area.

The meetup will be at 11:45 at the parking lot next to Tempe Beach Park. The city may move us to the Tempe Arts Park, which is just to the west. Either way, it’s close to the parking lot at the bend in the Rio Salado Parkway.
