Marylanders cannot afford more money out of their pockets.

Raising the gas tax will drive up consumer costs unfairly hurting the less fortunate and the unemployed. Struggling families need every penny to pay the bills and for the essentials.

Roadblocks to job creation are not polices that help Maryland. Increasing the gas tax will place a high hurdle that new businesses will not want to overcome. Existing businesses will have fewer resources to grow and create jobs.

Taxing away my disposable income will take away my ability to spend money to support local Maryland businesses and keep them open.

I stand against raising the gas tax!
