AFP Charters Buses for Northern Cities to Attend Defending the American Dream Summit

Buses will leave from Minocqua, Wausau, and Stevens Point the morning of the Summit and return that evening

MILWAUKEE – Due to the overwhelming interest in its upcoming Defending the American Dream Summit, Americans for Prosperity is chartering a bus in Wisconsin’s Northern counties free of charge for registered participants to travel to the Summit. Buses will leave from Minocqua, Wausau, and Stevens Point Saturday, March 7th-- the day of the Summit-- and return from Milwaukee later that evening.

“We have received an overwhelming interest from the northern part of the state, and we wanted to make sure everyone who wants to come and learn more about Wisconsin’s current political culture has the opportunity to do so,” said AFP State Director Mark Block. “They’re excited to get involved and willing to travel for the cause.”

Registration for the Summit is $36 and includes lunch. Registered attendees can sign up for the AFP charter bus by calling 414-475-2975 or emailing markb@afphq.org.

The bus timeline is as follows:
5:00 am - Depart Minocqua - Island City Lanes, 8085 US Highway 51 S, Minocqua, WI 54548
6:00 am - Depart Wausau, Holiday Inn - 1000 Imperial Avenue, Rothschild, WI 54474
6:30 am - Depart Stevens Point, Holday Inn, - 1001 Amber Ave, Stevens Point , WI 54481
9:00 am – Arrive Midwest Airlines Center, 400 Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee

6:30 pm – Depart Midwest Airlines Center
9:00 pm - Arrive Stevens Point
9:30 pm - Arrive Wausau
10:30 pm - Arrive Minocqua
