Changing the Nation, One State at a Time
Dear Conservative Activist,
President Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi have made it clear they plan on using the nuclear method of reconciliation to ram health care through Congress in the next few weeks, regardless of how strongly the American people are against it.
Congressman Bob Etheridge has stated that he will most likely support the bill.
We must let him know that this vote is directly against the wishes of his constituents!
We have two great opportunities to help you make sure your voice is heard.
First, please join me on the phone Monday evening for a Health Care Tele-Town Hall with a distinguished panel of experts including AFP's Vice President for Policy Phil Kerpen, Vice President for Research and Resident Scholar of the John Locke Foundation Roy Cordato and local surgeon Dr. Brent Ellmers as they discuss the future of private, patient-centered health care and the Obama plan and take your questions.
Please join the Town Hall at 8:30PM by calling 877-229-8493. The access ID code is 13127.
Additionally, join scores of your fellow activists next Tuesday at noon as we drive around his Raleigh and Lillington offices and Honk Against the Government Takeover of Health Care. You may either rally with us in front of either of his North Carolina office buildings OR just drive around the block a few times honking your horn and displaying signs.
