Michigan Tax Day Tea Party at the State Capitol: The crowd ranged from toddlers to senior citizens. Over 5,000 Michigan residents converged on the State Capitol today to protest the over-reach of government in DC and Lansing.
Joe "The Plumber" Wurzelbacher at the Michigan Tax Day Tea Party in Lansing: Joe "The Plumber" symbolized the average American worker for many of the Tea Party participants who came to Lansing today to tell Lansing and Washington "No!" to higher taxes and "Yes!" to greater government restraint and transparency.
Our young people are already in debt before they're even old enough to pay taxes!: Young people from around the state came out to learn about the importance of participating in democracy and to have their own voices heard about the debt they will be inheriting.
