The first Annual Conservative Heartland Leadership Conference was held in St. Louis last week and it was a smashing success! Ed Martin and the other organizers did a great job of providing attendees with great topics and great speakers.

AFP's own Alan Cobb was a panelist with Phyllis Schlafly (Eagle Forum), Wendy Wright (Concerned Women for America), Grover Norquist (Americans for Tax Reform) and Jim Durbin (24thstate.com). The panel was moderated by Ed Fallor, Jr (AIP & NTU). Our friends over at TheMissouriRecord have provided the transcript of Alan's introductory remarks.

The conference was successful with breakout sessions and luncheon speakers David Limbaugh and Sen Norm Coleman.
