WINDHAM – Today Americans for Prosperity (AFP) Foundation is honoring Granite State Blogger and Radio Talk Show Host Skip Murphy as the 2011 RightOnline “Activist of the Year.”

“I am pleased to see Skip receive this award,” said Corey R. Lewandowski, State Director of Americans for Prosperity Foundation-New Hampshire. “His commitment to delivering news to the people of our state deserves recognition.”

Murphy will receive the 2011 “Activist of the Year” award this evening at the 4th annual RightOnline Conference in Minneapolis. Each year the Americans for Prosperity Foundation selects an individual to receive the “Activist of the Year” award based on their effective use of online media tools to advance the causes of liberty and economic freedom.

“The people of New Hampshire are fortunate to have Skip working hard to educate them on the issues and bring them information and opinions they might not find elsewhere,” said Lewandowski.

Hosted by the Americans for Prosperity Foundation, the Right Online Conference serves as the premier gathering for conservative new media personalities. More than 1,200 activists are attending this year’s conference.
