North Carolina Lawmakers Sign No Climate Tax Pledge

Three more North Carolina legislators have signed AFP’s NoClimateTax.com pledge, which states that they will “oppose any legislation relating to climate change that includes a net increase in government revenue.”

State Senator and Deputy Republican Leader Neal Hunt (15th District), State Senator David Rouzer (12th District) and State Representative Efton Sager (11th District) joined the ranks of signers over the weekend.

North Carolina signers includes:

  • State Senator David Rouzer - 12th District
  • State Senator Neal Hunt - 15th District - Deputy Republican Leader
  • State Senator Jerry W. Tillman - 29th District - Republican Whip
  • State Senator Don East - 30th District
  • State Senator Andrew C. Brock - 34th District
  • State Senator Eddie Goodall - 35th District
  • State Representative Efton Sager - 11th District
  • State Representative Mark Hilton - 96th District
