Changing the Nation, One State at a Time
Almost 100 intrepid grassroots activists braved whipping winds in Bismarck, North Dakota this morning to make our second event of our Hot Air Tour a success.
Kevin Cramer, North Dakota's elected Public Service Commissioner, joined us and delivered a powerful anti-Cap-and-Trade message pointing out that North Dakota is an energy exporter to the rest of the nation (especially coal) and yet still meets all federal environmental compliance standards proving that you can be pro-energy production and still support a clean environment.

Kevin Cramer Speaking to our activists
Unfortunately, high winds kept us from putting aloft our seven story high balloon and there were some disappointed kids.

We still delivered our message that Cap-and-Trade is a job killing, energy tax increase. Once again, dozens of activists called their Senators from the event urging a NO vote. And, we also urged them to call North Dakota Congressman Earl Pomeroy who is on the Agriculture Committee which is considering Cap-and-Trade.
As a grassroots activists, we encourage you to contact your representative and tell them to vote NO on the tax scheme known as Cap-and-Trade. You can contact your elected officials by clicking here.
The drive last night from Billings to Bismarck was brutal -- six hours -- and we lost an hour going from Mountain Time to Central Time so we straggled into our hotel at 2:40am this morning with an 7:15am wake up call hovering!
Now, we're on the road to Fargo for this evening's rally and then it's Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Wednesday morning and Omaha, Nebraska Wednesday night.
I encourage you to join me on Facebook and Twitter as we continue to build the largest grassroots movement fighting for limited government, less spending, and more freedom.
