A variety of speakers, ranging from former congressman John Kasich, State Auditor Mary Taylor and Columbus City Council candidates to bloggers, students, radio talk show hosts, and the sponsors of Ohio's Tenth Amendment legislation, encouraged the crowd to become active in the political process, reach out elected officials and demand that they exercise their votes responsibly. AFP State Director, Jack Boyle, asked the crowd to go to AFP's web site, FeesAreTaxes.com and sign the online petition demanding that Ohio's governor and General Assembly pass a balanced budget with no tax increases and only the spending which the state can afford.
