Ohio activists and their allies gathered in front of the district office of congressman John Bocierri at noon on Friday, July 17 in a rally designed to show their opposition to the proposed federal takeover of the nation’s health care system.

The crowd numbered about 200 and included members of the Canton and Ashland tea party groups and Medina FAN among others. They cheered the passing traffic and waved signs that were colorful both visually and in the expression of their message which focused on cap and trade and out of control government spending as well as health care.
