Ready To March on DC?
Don’t miss the earlybird deadline for Americans For Prosperity Foundation’s Defending the American Dream national summit in Washington, DC Oct 2nd & 3rd. Quick Q&A:
Q. When should I register?
A. Today, because of the early bird discount of $20 and the first 1000 registrants get a free dinner Friday night.
AFP in DC - 2008 National Summit
Q. How do I register?
A. You can register online here. Or you can mail a check to AFPGA, 1720 Peachtree St. Ste 604N, Atlanta, GA 30309. Mark clearly for DAD Summit.
Q. Is this event family friendly?
A. Yes, we even have a special family rate, as well as a special student rate. The hotel has an indoor pool and a gym.
Q. Will I need a car while there?
A. No, the hotel for the Summit has an airport shuttle that picks you up at Reagan International and brings you to the hotel door. Many restaurants and the Metro station are very close. Busses provided by AFP will take you to our protest in DC.
Q. Why should I come?
A. You will be inspired and equipped to better lead the battle when you return. We have the brightest and best speakers and workshop teachers. Georgia will have at least one special event, just for us. You will connect with people from all over the country and across GA. This is fun and important! Thinking of a career change? Check out our conservative job fair.
Q. What’s the hotel info?
A. Crystal Gateway Marriott, in Arlington, VA, just outside DC. Special rate for Summit: $149 per night. You can come early or stay late (Sept 27- Oct 6) at this same rate if you want to get in some extra sightseeing while you’re there.
Q. What if I have more questions?
A. Email me! Or call 770-265-2242.

Ready To Join RedState in Atlanta?
Blogger extraordinaire, Erick Erickson of RedState and Peach Pundit is hosting a gathering/workshop in Atlanta on Aug. 1. Looks like a full and exciting agenda. Join AFP there! Meet AFP’s national staffers – Policy Analyst Phil Kerpen (you may have seen him on FOX) and Erik Telford, our new media guru. I’ll be there, too!
Ready for the Next Step?
After the Tea Parties, everyone wanted to know “What’s The Next Step?” Yes, policy change involves a little more than showing up with a poster – no matter how clever or artful! So AFPGA has been presenting Next Step classes across GA for the past 3 months, training citizen activists in effective communication – with your elected leaders and through all the media to your fellow citizens. RSVP here for upcoming classes:
