Americans for Prosperity Exposes the Left's “Secret Plan” to Use Forced Unionization to Take Over the Country

PITTSBURGH – Competing panels at new media conferences presently taking place in Pittsburgh—NetRoots Nation and RightOnline—highlight what's at stake in the fight over the so-called Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA), better known as Card Check because of its infamous provisions to abolish private ballot elections for union organizing.

NetRoots Nation called its panel on EFCA “The Secret Plan to Defeat the Right Forever.” (http://www.netrootsnation.com/node/1172)

“The name of the panel is a hilarious unintentional self-parody,” said RightOnline panelist Tim Lee, Vice President of the Center for Individual Freedom who will speaking at RightOnline today about the threats of forced unionization.

Americans for Prosperity director of policy Phil Kerpen, a RightOnline organizer, said:
“The radical left-wing panelists over at NetRoots from SEIU, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, and ACORN are openly plotting to use EFCA to force millions of Americans to pay union dues that will fund left-wing political activities. When they openly talk about a secret plan to destroy the right, it's not a secret anymore. But it is a serious threat that must be stopped.”
