Here is the Tucson Tea Party org's report from the town halls in Sierra Vista, Green Valley, and Tucson:
Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ) finally gave in to the demand of her constituents that she hold a townhall regarding her support for the "public option." In the past two days, she was met by the boos of thousands of people at her townhalls in Sierra Vista, Green Valley, and Tucson.
KGUN9 had great, fair coverage of the event. (Additional pictures and video will be sent in another email roundup later when available).
The auditorium at Sahuaro High School in Tucson quickly filled its 1500 person capacity, and the 1000 or more seats outside easily filled as well. It is easily possible that 3000-4000 people tried to attend Rep. Giffords' townhall but could not make it inside. Even though the event started at 6 pm, people started lining up at 2!
It was obvious to anyone in attendance that 2/3 to 3/4 of the people there were against the public option. In fact, when one man who was able to speak into the microphone suggested that we throw all the bums out of Congress, nearly 90% of the people in the auditorium gave him a standing, shouting ovation that lasted nearly two minutes.
That theme replayed all night. When "facts" were presented by Giffords or her supporters that everyone knew to be false, she was met with a loud round of boos. When she declared her support for the public option, the boos and jeers could have toppled buildings with their intensity.
I saw many familiar faces from the Tea Party there, most incognito without their tea shirts on. Yet, even with hundreds of Tea Partiers in attendance, there is no way that we could have brought such large opposition alone. From what I could tell by last night, the American people are truly waking up to what their government is doing. They are becoming motivated and involved. The tide is finally changing...
Congratulations to all of you for your hard work to bring about this momentum. This victory belongs to all of you, as it would not be possible without your involvement.
However, there is still much to do. The Tucson Tea Party and all of its supporters are part of the solution and are working hard to achieve victory...
You have all personally witnessed the effects of your participation with us. If it had not been for the rallies, media attention, and massive public outcry that you took part in, Rep. Giffords likely would have never held a town hall. We would never have had the chance to show her just how upset people are with the decisions that she's making.

The KGUN piece is here (we think they gave more than equal time to the arguments of the pro-ObamaCare side, especially given that most of the people in the room did NOT support greater government involvement in health care):
