The November Is Coming Bus rolled into Johnson County, Kansas on Sept. 1, with a stop in Overland Park. About 130 Kansans showed up to sign the November Is Coming petition, volunteer to help with our issue education campaign, and to fight big government policies.

The weather kept us inside, but that didn't dampen the enthusiasm of keynote speaker Dr. Milton Wolf.

Dr. Wolf, a Kansas radiologist and second cousin to President Obama, talked about how big government programs just can't get it right (think Cash for Clunkers) and what he expects to happen in the U.S. under ObamaCare. (For video, click here.)

This group of Kansans joined more than 370,000 activists nationwide to sign the November Is Coming petition.

They signed the petition, joined our door-to-door and phone bank efforts, and took home literature to distribute to their friends and neighbors about the big government, freedom-killing policies pushed through Congress in recent months.

AFP is nearly 40,000 members strong in Kansas, and our activists are becoming fully engaged in educating Kansas citizens on the ramifications of massive government spending and programs like ObamaCare, Cap-and-Trade, more bailouts, and the Internet takeover.
