While I am slightly amused at the focus, measures, and energy my local opponents, blogs, and the MSM (MSNBC) has placed on MY GROUP: Americans for Prosperity, it shows me we must be very effective if they spend so much time focusing on us.

Well, good.

The charge now is that we are an "AstroTurf" organization fueled by big corporate money and our members are too stupid to realize that volunteers like myself are somehow being hood-winked into working for our common cause.

Poor misguided people.

I really don't understand why people don't use their brains more. I know full well of the deep pockets of AFP, it's origins, as well as personally knowing Tim Phillips, which by the way, is one reason I have used the umbrella to support our common goals, as the growing numbers of the group have also. Who wants to be a part of a poorly organized, poorly funded, non-recognized group if one is trying to accomplish something? Answer: Nobody unless they are an idiot. The folks at MoveOn.org knew this and effectively used it. If you want to be a part of the blood sport of politics, you better choose your friends wisely.

I absolutely LOVE the fact that if I choose to go after a local issue, that I have financial backing of my group. They will take up my fight with a city or county council and pull out the big guns with just one call from me. I also love that this is a network that is huge and growing all across the country. Now that is power my friends.

Let's not forget who funds MSNBC. Yes the Obama TV station is owned by non other than General Electric. Do you know the tie there? Who in the Obama administration might have a little something to do with GE? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm? and what about "Organizing for America?" This is the administrations TAX FUNDED group that has taken our money to "AstroTurf" with PAID union member thugs and operatives that go after media outlets like FOX News, on our collective dime. Then there is ACORN, you know that respectable group that receives FEDERAL money to register dead people to vote.?
