Yesterday afternoon, AFP-Nebraska delivered over 4,000 petitions, signed by Nebraskans from across the state, telling Senator Nelson we are opposed to the government-run health care bill.

Thanks to your efforts, we were able to make a strong statement today that Nebraskans do not want Congress’ health care bill that will raise taxes, cut Medicare, increase the size and scope of government, and limit our freedoms.

Americans for Prosperity-Nebraska is serious about health care reform. Our 20,000 members are clamoring for reform that puts patients first, not government, by reducing the costs of health care, incorporating meaningful tort reform to put an end to defensive medicine practices, and promoting competition by removing artificial state line barriers to purchasing health insurance.



Our goal by delivering these petitions is to give a voice to the tens of thousands of Nebraskans who want Senator Nelson and the entire Congress to quite playing politics and enact serious reform that puts patients first.
