Changing the Nation, One State at a Time
The purpose of this postis to brag about the good work we have done together to mobilize thousands of grassroots activists in Nebraska for the cause of limited government and personal freedom.

AFP Members rally against government-run health care
Over the past week, Americans for Prosperity-Nebraska held events in ten cities, from Kearney to South Sioux City, and practically everywhere in between, rallying against government-run health care. The feedback we heard was, “We must win this fight on health care, but we don’t know what to do.” Maybe you have said something similar yourself?
That is why AFP-Nebraska held four grassroots training classes across Nebraska last week, and we plan on hosting more in the near future.

Nearly 100 people attend grassroots training in Lincoln
The grassroots training classes were held in Norfolk, Nebraska City, Omaha and Lincoln, and provided information on how to build winning grassroots coalitions, interact with traditional and online media, write an effective letter to your Senator or letter to the editor, and how to make your elected officials hear you!
State Senators Beau McCoy and Tony Fulton joined us at AFP-Nebraska’s grassroots training in Omaha, and gave us their perspective on how constituents can grab their attention, and make a difference!

Over 80 Omahans attend grassroots training
Senator McCoy’s message was simple: “As a state senator, I need to hear from you, my constituents , as much as I hear from lobbyists and special interest groups. You do make a difference!”
You need to know that you are being successful in advancing the causes of freedom and limited government. It’s November already, and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid’s number one priority, government-run health care, is still not even close to being voted on. Your millions of emails, phone calls, letters, and grassroots rallies are making a difference. Keep it up!
Will you help us continue this momentum by contacting Senator Nelson, and letting him know you do not want a government-run health care plan?
Sen. Nelson’s office can be reached by emailing senator@bennelson.senate.gov or calling:
