Are We Making a Difference?

Yes, we are! In spite of the health care reform bill passing the House last Saturday, your calls, petitions, and visits have been duly noted. The President himself denigrated you once again.

“Does anybody think that the teabag, anti-government people are going to support them if they bring down health care? All it will do is confuse and dispirit” Democratic voters “and it will encourage the extremists.” - Barack Obama in The New York Times Nov.7

They don’t attack when you’re not getting under their skin a little.

He knows that this ruinous bill still has a major hurdle to pass – the U.S. Senate. You and I know what that means – keep the pressure on, both the Senate and the House – they will have the last word to approve or reject the final bill. Continue sending our petition out. Continue attending Town Halls, Tea Parties, Next Step training events. Join or form a local AFP chapter. Engage your neighbors in the conversation. Stay informed.

They thought this bill would pass in July – now it’s November and moving toward an election year, and neither this bill nor the cap-and-trade bill is a done deal yet. With your continued help and participation, they never will be. Together we are defining the conversation on these issues – keep up the good work!

Thanks to all who came out for GA Congressional House Calls or traveled to DC last Thursday.
