We're excited to introduce to you a new, volunteer grassroots leadership team for Americans for Prosperity’s South Carolina chapter.
Linda Weeks and Debbie Spaugh will be leading AFP-SC as co-chairwomen on a volunteer basis, helping folks like you take action and make your voices heard on key issues concerning our economic freedom and prosperity.
Linda and Debbie both became active during the 2008 presidential election by volunteering at their chosen party’s campaign headquarters in Greenville. More recently, they have both helped coordinate the Greenville 9/12 project and the Carolinas Freedom Forum .
Linda and Debbie have impressive professional backgrounds which will help them lead AFP-SC. For the last 30 years, Linda’s been a leader in advertising and marketing for major retailers. Seven years ago, after being recruited by a Southeastern grocery store chain, Linda and her husband relocated to Greenville, South Carolina which they now proudly consider home. Debbie, after graduating from UNC- Chapel Hill, has worked for many years in the commercial and mortgage banking sector and has raised her family in beautiful Easley, South Carolina.
Linda and Debbie’s skill sets will be put to good use when it comes to spreading our message of free markets and small government. We’re so lucky to have them working on our behalf -- not to mention as unpaid volunteers!
Send Linda and Debbie an email at infosc@afphq.org and welcome them to the team. They would love to hear your ideas on how we can work together in South Carolina.
