AFP Members Stand Against 66 & 67 - Join Us!

With the election to repeal the Legislature's job killing taxes on individuals, business owners and businesses now only a month away, AFP Members across Oregon are standing up for limited government.
Lloyd Center Protest, 12-09Lloyd Center Protest, 12-09 In Portland, Clackamas, Woodburn, Coos Bay and other sites around Oregon, AFP Members used the day after Christmas to get their message out on one of the busiest shopping days of the year.

Additional events are planned. On Monday, December 28, AFP Members and our coalition partners will bring the fight against job killing taxes to more than 18,000 Blazer basketball fans. Members will picket on public property around the Rose Quarter from 5:30 - 7:00 pm, letting fans know the grassroots is active against the Legislature's effort to (further) destroy the State's economy. If you would like to take part in this fun event, please plan to meet on the Memorial Coliseum plaza no later then 5:30 pm on Monday. Please bring a home-made sign urging a "NO" vote on Measures 66 & 67, or some other limited government message. Please remember that this is a family-friendly event and signs should reflect that fact. Also, please do not use Trail Blazer or NBA logos as neither of these organizations has endorsed this demonstration.

The best plan for attending might be to park in downtown Portland, and take the MAX to the Rose Quarter - remember that MAX runs for free to Blazer games.

If you would like to attend or have questions, please email AFP Multnomah County Assistant Chapter Leader Roxanne Ross at roxy@falconpc.com.
