AFP Crashes the Premiere of Michael Moore's New Film

Last night we joined our friends at Bureaucrash and the Moving Picture Institute in crashing the premiere of Michael Moore's new movie, Sicko, at the Uptown Theater in Northwest DC.

One of our interns stepped up and agreed to dress as Fidel Castro and pass out fliers showing the disgusting conditions in Cuba's hospitals - something Moore obviously doesn't show in his film.

The highlight of the evening had to be when "Castro" started yelling at Moore in Spanish as he was doing his red carpet media interviews. "Socialismo es el diablo!" "Miguel, es tu amigo, Fidel - una boleta, por favor!" Eventually, what appeared to be a mentally unstable fan of Moore's just started screeching in "Castro's" ear to drown him out.

What a circus. We'll have video up soon, but check out these pics in the meantime...
