Grassroots Group to Conduct
Taxpayer Training Schools in Tilton, N.H., September 10th with Special Guest Greg Knytych, Laconia City Councilor

Classes Teach Citizens How to Become Effective Advocates
in the Policy-Making Process

WINDHAM, NH (September 3) – The New Hampshire chapter of Americans for Prosperity Foundation (AFPF) will hold a taxpayer training school with Laconia City Councilor Greg Knytych in Tilton, N.H., on Wednesday, September 10th. The class is only one in a series sponsored by AFPF designed to educate New Hampshire citizens on becoming effective free-market advocates in the public policy process.

“We are building on our successes with previous training seminars conducted in Manchester and Conway,” said AFPF-New Hampshire Director Corey Lewandowski. “Grassroots groups like ours are essential to preserving a vibrant democracy. Our goal is to equip citizens with the skills necessary to defend and promote limited government policies.”

The trainings will focus on practical skills like how to write letters to the editor and how to effectively communicate with elected officials. The program will also feature a presentation on the state’s fiscal and economic status, while offering free-market solutions to ensure New Hampshire is prosperous.

“We are very excited to have Laconia City Councilor Greg Knytych talk about the impact local spending has on a community,” said Lewandowski.  “Councilor Knytych has been a staunch advocate for reducing the amount of spending.  He believes, like we do, that citizens know how to spend their money better than elected officials and state agencies.”
