AFP-OR Communications Director Matt Evans recently appeared on KOIN TV (Channel 6) in Portland speaking out against Commissioner Sam Adams' "Street Fee" plan. The plan, which would raise $484 million by placing hidden charges on homeowners and businesses utility bills, is currently pending before the Portland City Council. The plan should be killed outright, but may be referred to voters for the November election. Adding it would bring the total amount sought on November money measures in Portland to almost $1 billion.
