Over 150 AFP-VA members attended AFP-VA’s Day at the Capitol on Monday, June 23 to rally against those in the General Assembly and Governor proposed tax increase. The rally had great speakers such as Delegates Brenda Pogge and Ben Cline, Senators Ken Cuccinelli and Steve Martin, AFP President Tim Phillips, and AFP-VA State Director Ben Marchi. After the rally AFP activists packed the House gallery to watch the start of the special session, and then headed to lunch. At lunch, Attorney General Bob McDonnell and others spoke about the importance of grassroots activism in Virginia.
