Attorney General Report Calls for Transparency

Attorney General Rogers’ Advisory Committee has been meeting since mid June, tasked with studying the functions and policies of the AG’s office and recommending changes to those operations.

Their recently released report details many suggestions, among them “Outside Counsel Alterations”. This recommendation includes forming another Advisory Committee to further study the process and encourages more transparency and accountability.

AFP-Ohio could not agree more with the committee’s advise to open the process of outside counsel selection for more public transparency. AFP-Ohio will keep an eye on this issue and provide an update when the next report is issued.
