-Signs No Climate Tax Pledge-

LANSING—The Michigan chapter of the grassroots free market group Americans for Prosperity (AFP-MI) today applauded U.S. Congressman Fred Upton (6th District) for signing the group’s “No Climate Tax Pledge.” Upton joins more than 325 legislators and candidates on the federal, state and local levels pledging to “oppose legislation relating to climate change that includes a net increase in federal revenue.”

“Detroit union wants mayor jailed”

Union bosses will stop at nothing to pillage the good people of this state. Union bosses pretend that unions are immune from economic downturns and will threaten & intimidate politicians into giving into their will.

This officer initially asked me to leave then when I asked to go in and leave a noted he asked me to stand down and leave. Congressman Peters asked that only one person come in at a time. Finally I got in because the crowd cheered me on and questioned the Troy police officers actions.

Michigan was 9th in per capita income in 1965. Today we are 41st! Top ten income state to a bottom 10. Michigan is a poor state because of backroom deals between politicians and special interests like powerful union bosses. The people of Michigan deserve better!

New GM and Chrysler workers make $14 an hour. Thanks union bosses for keeping those wages high and jobs in Michigan. Yeah right!

It is time to start the race back to the top! Top in wages and in employment.
