AFP VP Policy Phil Kerpen issued the following statement on the FCC's adopted network neutrality order:

As the moon was eclipsed earlier today, Congress and the American people will be eclipsed by this regulatory coup d'état -- orchestrated by the White House -- that will substitute the judgment of three Democrats at the FCC for the legitimate democratic process.

To his credit, and unlike many of his colleagues, Congressman Jim Moran has never masqueraded as an earmark reformer only to secretly fight behind the scenes for the status quo. Indeed, he once infamously declared that he intended to "earmark the s**t" out of one bill.
