WINDHAM – The New Hampshire chapter of Americans for Prosperity Foundation (AFPF) will hold the first of its series of taxpayer training schools in Manchester N.H., on July 19th. The class kicks off the group’s initiative to educate thousands of citizens across New Hampshire on economic policy and how to become more involved in the policy-making process.
The taxpayer training schools are designed to give citizens nuts-and-bolts know-how, and each program will include instruction on how to write letters to the editor and how to effectively contact elected officials. Further, the program will feature effective ways to organize neighbors, communities and like-minded citizens.
“We’re giving citizens the tools to make a difference,” said AFPF-New Hampshire Director Corey Lewandowski. “Grassroots groups like ours are essential to preserving a vibrant democracy. Our goal is to equip citizens with the facts and figures and know-how to make the case for limited government.”
Glen Caroline, Executive Director of the National Rifle Association (NRA’s) Institute for Legislative Action (ILA) will be the featured speaker at the grassroots school. Under Caroline’s leadership, NRA-ILA has educated thousands of taxpayers on ways to mobilize. He is often considered the premier grassroots trainer in the country, and oversees, the largest grassroots membership in the country. His efforts have paved the way for grassroots activists in every state in the Union.
