This afternoon the Heritage Foundation hosted a panel discussion about the historic role that bloggers played in building support for the Coburn-Obama spending transparency bill that President Bush signed into law last week. 

The discussion was a great inside account of how the blogging community worked with grassroots groups like Americans for Prosperity and the Club for Growth to expose and break last-minute secret holds that threatened Senate passage of this common-sense legislation.
