Good Thursday morning -- the halfway point of this week's southern swing of the Hot Air Tour. This morning we're holding an event in Marietta, Georgia, then it's over to Sweet Home Alabama for an event in Birmingham tomorrow morning, Nashville tomorrow afternoon and Cincinnati on Saturday morning. For a detailed schedule, more info, or to register, visit www.CostOfHotAir.com.
A few pictures from our events in Spartanburg, SC, and Savannah, Georgia are attached below. Hopefully, the best picture of the Tour will come tomorrow, when, weather permitting, we hope to fly our balloon over Al Gore's Nashville-area house.
As an aside, I saw a Senator from Tennessee (who shall remain nameless) on Capitol Hill this morning and reminded him that our Tour's going to be in Nashville tomorrow.
He replied: "Oh yes, you're the guys who are going to be flying over Al Gore's house right?!" Of course, I told him we could pull some strings and get him on board for the fly-over, but he said his schedule wouldn't permit it, although he did say we should wave to Al Gore for him as we float over his energy hog of a house.
Will do, Senator! Will do.
