1) Harry Reid has had his bill for 6 weeks – shouldn’t the American people have the same time period to review it and know what the bill contains? After all, 2,074 pages isn’t exactly light reading.

Reid's health bill is 2,074 pages and 371,949 words. Uses the word "tax" 183 times. According to CBO it spends $848B, raises taxes $486B, cuts Medicare/Medicaid $436B ($330B+ Medicare), and leaves 24M uninsured.
Maybe we should all take a deep breath on this one, and go back to the drawing board. And perhaps we should open up the echo chamber a little bit and consider some reform options that do not involve command-and-control from Washington DC.
