AFP President Tim Phillips joins Glenn Beck to discuss the Card Check provision being pulled from the Employee Free Choice Act. However, now Congress is replacing it with another terrible provision which calls for a Fast Track Election.

As the current Kansas Legislature is still wrapping up, we have not yet compiled our key vote scorecard for 2009. However, below are a number of votes we tracked in the 2007 and 2008 legislative sessions. TOPEKA—The Kansas chapter of the free-market grassroots group Americans for Prosperity (AFP-KS) today applauded U.S. Senator Sam Brownback for signing the group’s “No Climate Tax Pledge.” By doing so, Brownback joins over 180 lawmakers on the federal, state and local levels pledging to “oppose legislation relating to climate change that includes a net increase in government revenue.”
