Laura Smitherman reported today in the Baltimore Sun that Gov. O'Malley's tax hike on Marylanders who earn over $1 million is backfiring. It seems that many of the earners they were counting on to pay this tax have gone missing, either due to the recession or because they have vacated the state altogether. <Annapolis Tea Partiers

After the wild success of yesterday's Taxpayer Tea Parties, the Left has made some bewildering comments in the aftermath. Gov. O'Malley was on vacation (must be nice!), but his aide Rick Abbruzzese commented that "the angry sentiment at tea parties comes from a general anxiety about the economy and misinformation from conservative talk radio."
