Quincy-Illinois…The Adams Chapter of Americans for Prosperity (AFP-IL) will be hosting a legislative issue update meeting on Thursday November 15, 2007 at the Quincy Public Library, 526 Jersey Street, Quincy Il. - starting at 6:30 PM. The sessions featured speaker will be State Representative Jil Tracy.

“I believe Americans for Prosperity’s mission of educating and empowering our citizens to speak out against government waste and supporting sound fiscal policy is vital to the democratic process” said Representative Tracy.  

Americans for Prosperity, a national grassroots organization, launched its Illinois chapter in late August 2006.  Since the launch AFP has opened twelve local chapters and signed over 8000 activists.  AFP has also formed partnerships with groups like the Heartland Institute, the Illinois Policy Institute, the National Federation of Independent Businesses and the Illinois Coalition for Jobs, Growth and Prosperity to name a few.
