RALEIGH –Americans for Prosperity-North Carolina (AFP-NC) today launched a radio ad blitz urging citizens to contact their state legislators and tell them to oppose the one billion dollar tax increases proposal offered by the North Carolina House of Representatives.

Jonathan Krohn looked just like any average 13 year old as he sat in the coffee house drinking his hot chocolate, squirming in a too-large sofa chair. But he is not just any teenager; he’s an author and an up-and-coming political analyst.

Krohn’s book, “Define Conservatism,” is a primer of conservative political values for all ages that does just what the title says – it defines four basic principles all conservatives must share.

Over the past few weeks, Fayetteville state Rep. Rick Glazer, a Democrat, has been leading the charge to pass House Bill 120, along with fellow Fayetteville Rep. Margaret Dickson, also a Democrat, who also is a primary sponsor. This bill would allow North Carolina cities and towns to require taxpayers to fund campaigns for candidates who choose to run for municipal office.
