With all 46 precincts reporting, the $120 million sales tax increase was rejected by voters, 55.37% to 44.63%.
"This is a tremendous victory for First Coast families and for Americans for Prosperity," said state chairman Dan Quiggle. "The voters have sent a strong message to their local government - stop your reckless spending and cut our taxes."
