Taxpayer Group to Host Legislative Issue Update Meeting in Freeport, Tuesday 9/16/08

Freeport – The free-market grassroots group Americans for Prosperity Foundation will host a legislative issue update meeting featuring State Senator Tim Bivens and State Rep. Jim Sacia on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at the Freeport Public Library, Freeport Illinois.

“I believe Americans for Prosperity Foundation’s mission of educating and empowering our citizens to speak out against government waste and supporting sound fiscal policy is vital to the democratic process,” said Senator Bivens.

Americans for Prosperity (AFP), is the nation’s premiere free-market grassroots organization, launched its Illinois chapter in August 2006.
