House Bill 420 is legislation to require information on state awards and earmarks, state real property management, state agency management, and state program effectiveness be collected and made available on a single searchable web site on-line.  Modeled after federal legislation, this type of open good-government public policy will help citizens monitor state government.

On the morning of Thursday, April 10^th, HB 420 had another public hearing.  No testimony was provided, however the bill was brought up for a vote.  The bill was reported favorably by the committee members present.  The bill now moves to the Rules and Reference Committee to wait to be placed on the House Calendar – to receive it’s third consideration on the House Floor.
