With temperatures in Lynchburg in the single digits on Saturday morning, AFP members and free-market advocates braved through the cold to enjoy a warm breakfast with Del. Kathy Byron (R-Campbell County) and Del. Ben Cline (R-Rockbridge).

AFP-Virginia continues our town hall tour with a stop in Newport News! We are lucky to have special guests Del. Phil Hamilton (R-Newport News), Del. Tom Gear (R-Hampton), Del. Glenn Oder (R-Newport News), and Del. Brenda Pogge (R-James City). Come out for a chance to meet with great legislators who are committed to defending prosperity this General Assembly Session.

The event is free and open to the public, and a light breakfast will be provided for attendees.

To a packed room in Roanoke, AFP-Virginia kicked of our 2009 Town Hall Tour! Attendees at this event heard from Congressman Bob Goodlatte and AFP-VA State Director Ben Marchi. The topic was issues affecting our prosperity at the federal level and in the Virginia General Assembly this session.

Roanoke is just the first stop on our Town Hall tour. Tomorrow we will be in Lynchburg with Del. Kathy Byron and Del. Ben Cline.
