Conservative godfather Grover Norquist stopped by Milwaukee the day after the Republican National Convention, cheery and optimistic.
That wouldn't be a given. Norquist, who founded Americans for Tax Reform but is best known as a libertarian-leaning hub of any "vast right-wing conspiracy," has been pretty good at ripping Republicans in power. In what is supposed to be the liberals' year, when the Republican ticket is headed by a guy best known for annoying conservatives, you'd think Norquist would be glum.

READ MOREOSHKOSH, WI — The free-market grassroots group Americans for Prosperity (AFP) will bring its Wisconsin Town Hall series to Oshkosh on Thursday, October 2nd, to discuss the report recently released by Gov. Doyle's Task Force on Global Warming, updates on Property Rights issues, and other important issues affecting Wisconsin.
This event is co-sponsored by Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce, Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce and the National Federation of Independent Business.
